We offer two complementary editorial roles. Whether you are interested in managing manuscripts from submission to decision, or in contributing focused, high-quality peer review, there is a place for you on our team.
Associate Editor
Associate Editors are the backbone of our peer-review operation. Each AE is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of submitted manuscripts within their area of expertise — from initial assessment through final editorial decision.
This role demands scholarly judgment, timely communication, and a commitment to fair, rigorous evaluation.
- Handle approximately 5 manuscripts per year
- Conduct critical review of each assigned manuscript
- Provide structured, actionable reviewer feedback
- New manuscripts must be assessed and reviewers invited within 3 days of assignment
- Coordinate with Editorial Board reviewers as needed
- Eligible for co-authorship after 5 five-star manuscript handlings
Editorial Board Member
Editorial Board Members are exclusively selected — a highly curated group of recognized experts who form the sole reviewer pool for this journal. Membership reflects a distinction of scholarly standing and is extended by invitation or competitive application only.
When a manuscript falls within your expertise, you will be invited to review. All peer review for this journal is conducted exclusively by Board members.

- Respond to review invitations — accept or decline — within 3 days
- Complete accepted reviews with substantive expert critique within 7 days of acceptance

What Five-Star Performance Means
Co-authorship pathways are tied to performance evaluations. We use a five-star rating system to assess the quality of editorial contributions. A five-star performance is not simply competent — it is exceptional. The following describes our rating scale:

Ratings are assigned by the Editor-in-Chief following each editorial contribution and are recorded confidentially. Members will receive feedback to support professional development.
Earning Your Place on the Byline
We believe that exceptional editorial work deserves meaningful scholarly recognition. Both roles carry a structured pathway to co-authorship on journal publications. Co-authorship eligibility is based on consistent five-star performance — not tenure or seniority.
Associate Editor Pathway
After handling 5 manuscripts with five-star evaluations, Associate Editors become eligible to request co-authorship on a qualifying publication of their choosing.
Editorial Board Pathway
After completing 5 five-star peer reviews, Editorial Board Members become eligible to request co-authorship on a qualifying publication in their area of expertise.
Co-authorship requests are subject to Editor-in-Chief approval and must align with the manuscript's subject matter and the contributor's area of expertise. Details of the co-authorship agreement will be communicated upon eligibility.
